Children's Picture Book | The Girl with Waterfall Eyes
Share
The Girl with Waterfall Eyes is a children's picture book about a girl whose tears are compared to waterfalls. At first, others misunderstand her, and the story follows how they come to see her differently. Read it aloud at home or with a classroom group, then talk about the pictures and what each character notices.
Choose Book for the story on its own, or Book + 8 Printable Coloring Pages for the story with eight printable pages. The coloring pages are included only with the option that names them.
Why Amanda Picked This: As a teacher and a mom, I like a story that gives us a picture to return to during a read-aloud. The waterfall comparison in this one makes a natural place to pause. I would ask what the girl sees and what the other characters notice as the story goes on. — Amanda
