How Diablo Became Spirit is an illustrated children's book about an animal named Diablo. Read it aloud together and pause over the pictures to talk about what you notice and what might happen next.
Choose the Book option for the book alone. The Book + Puzzle option adds a puzzle and lists coloring pages; check the option you select before ordering. At home or in a classroom reading corner, the book offers a story to share and discuss.
Why Amanda Picked This: As a teacher and a mom, I like to slow down at an illustration and ask kids what they notice before turning the page. This book gives us a story to share and pictures to return to. I would choose the Book option for a simple read-aloud or the puzzle option for another activity afterward. — Amanda
